The company policy of the company AWK Verschlüsse GmbH & Co. KG is based on three keystones: Quality, flexibility and service. All this with a high responsibility for the environment.

With our team we produce about 1 billion closures per year.

In 1989 the AVG Aluminiumverschluss GmbH & Co. KG has been founded as a sales company under the company name Produktions- und AWK Verpackungen GmbH.

The start of the production was in November 1990 with five production lines.

In 1997 the company was certified according to DIN ISO 9001.

In the year 2000 the sales company was taken over in the production company and renamed with the current company name - AWK Verschlüsse GmbH & Co. KG.

With the take-over of the PP production in 2003, the portfolio was extended by seven production lines.

In 2014, a signal for the environmental awareness of the company AWK Verschlüsse GmbH & Co. KG was sent by purchasing production machines to produce PVC-free closures.
